And that's exactly what we've done!
We started CMX over a decade ago with a vision to be the best at what we do. Exactly what we do has evolved over the years, but what has remained constant is our commitment to building a company that attracts the best talent, remarkable clients, and provides a market leading EQMS that regularly raises the bar.
We're happiest when our clients and team are happiest, and over the years we've learned that the two go hand-in-hand, so while our solutions will continue to evolve throughout the next decade of CMX, our commitment to being the best company in our space will remain constant.
We are and act like owners. We know and care for the business and embrace the good news and the bad. We sweat the details and no job is beneath anyone because we are 1Team. When we see an issue, we fix it. And when we can’t, we tell someone who can.
We believe that unleashing human potential — both inside and outside our company — is the key to our success. We’re humble and understand it’s not all about me. We invest in each other because the team’s success is more important than any individual’s. When we need help, we ask. When someone asks for help, we give it.
We invest our time in trying to deeply understand our customers and work to solve problems from their perspective. We continue to earn their trust through every interaction.
As a distributed and fast-moving team, it is critical that we take the time to verbally communicate with one another and inform all areas of the business so we can keep moving in unison. We try to be clear, concise, complete, and courteous when we talk to one another and do it often and with purpose. We also value ad hoc communications over meetings without a purpose.
Our customers have complex businesses, so that makes our business complex too. We take the time to express ourselves in written prose for the benefit of our team and those we’re collaborating with.
We can’t boil the ocean. Our business is dynamic and complex. Prioritization helps break down complexity and provides clarity in the face of uncertainty. Inaction isn’t an option. We believe decisions are progress, so we trust our team to “do the right thing” and make the best possible decision with the information available, and we keep moving and learning.
We speak up when things appear or feel off base or off track. We encourage each other. We take constructive criticism as feedback. We assume right intent and believe it’s better to get it right than to be right.
While we take our jobs seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We recognize we don’t know everything and mistakes happen. We also don’t let our failures define us or derail us.
We’re driven by a hunger to build a meaningful and impactful company. We embrace big ideas and remember that every great achievement started small and with action.
Aside from needing to have the skills and experience required for the specific role that you're applying for, you'll also need to be 'hungry, humble, and smart' (our most valued character traits!) and feel an affinity with our core values (listed above on this page).
