All your microbiological, chemical, sensory, physical, nutritional product tests, and more - in a single, consolidated view. Define your test types, set scoring, and pass/fail parameters. All your tests are organized by type, product category, product, and supplier. Whether you are receiving tests from external labs, performing product inspections, or collecting evaluations, CMX1 helps you ensure specification compliance, identify trends, address issues, and gain an overall view into your product quality, safety, and compliance.
CMX1 can receive summary or detailed-level test results from your 3rd party lab partners. Tests can be manually uploaded into the platform for processing or imported automatically through APIs. CMX has existing integrations with many of the most well known 3rd Party testing organizations. Failed tests can trigger a closed-loop CAPA process with suppliers, as well as require the submission of another sample to be retested.
CMX1 also allows for internal teams, suppliers, and/or your distributors to perform product evaluations and product inspections and collect the results electronically. Utilizing a visual designer and a natural language rule builder, your team can quickly create forms ranging from simple inspection forms to more in-depth product evaluation forms. Self-service tools allow you to define KPIs, pass/fail logic, and min, max, target values for testing at the item, bag, case, or pallet level. The module can be used independently or automatically pull in the Finished Product Standards from your product specifications when housed in CMX1’s Product lifecycle management (PLM) module for verifying specification compliance.
Issues found during any product test, evaluation, or inspection can be optionally put through a closed-loop CAPA process for resolution, assuring suppliers take action to be in compliance with your product specifications and standards.
All results are captured electronically and made available for analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and visualization. Focus on continuous improvement through the identification of trends and insights by supplier, product, product category, and more.
